Livestream Menuhin Wettbewerb: Abschlusskonzert

Nach neun emotionsgeladenen Tagen ist die Menuhin Competition 2018 nun fast zu Ende. Für Jury-Mitglieder und Preisträger besteht nun Grund zum Feiern! Aus diesem Anlass findet in der Victoria Hall in Genf ein Abschlusskonzert statt, das die Geige in all ihren Facetten zur Geltung bringt.

Opernouvertüren, Konzerte, kurze Stücke … heute Abend steht die Violine im Mittelpunkt. Unter der Leitung von Julian Rachlin spielt das Royal Philharmonic Orchestra mit den Jury-Mitgliedern Maxim Vengerov, Soyoung Yoon und Ilya Gringolts sowie den beiden Preisträgern 2018 große Werke aus dem Geigenrepertoire.

Diese große Gala umspannt zwei Jahrhunderte musikalischen Schaffens mit Stücken von Mozart, Vivaldi, Kreisler und Tschaikowski. Gespielt werden die Werke von international renommierten Künstlern und vielversprechenden jungen Talenten. Was kann man mehr von einem Abschlussabend erwarten?
